This book was so insightful. The techniques I learned to heal alongside traditional Christian principles were truly eye opening for me and invigorating. I have experienced quite a number of healings after learning and applying these techniques. Rather, it's not just a technique, it's a way of life. With my new found knowledge I am able to heal when physical symptoms appear. Some healings are immediate and others take months while one in particularly large (seemingly stubborn) illness took 11 months. My faith and determination kept me going and I am so glad I did. I recommend this book wholeheartedly to everyone. The book is a little hard to read but stay with it! You won't regret it! Also: this book is not to read and then shelved. It's a book to be LIVED and PRACTICE. But isn't that what true God-fearing people do anyway?? 😊Product details

SandH is the finest book published on spiritual healing ever written. I have had many demonstrated healing from what I have learned from this book and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking healing or just better understanding of the bible. Christian Science is a deeply Christian religion and NOT a cult as some propose. You do NOT have to give up to your doctor to become a Christian Scientist every Christian Scientist makes their own decisions about healthcare and the expanded understanding of the Bible provided by this book is fantastic.
I love the First Edition and my favorite is the 1886 Edition. Who doesn't love God's healing!
While there are several publishers of Mary Baker Eddy's marvelous and life-changing book, Science and Health, on , there is only one authorized and guaranteed authentic edition. Unfortunately this is not it. While one has to commend anyone who wants to publish all or a portion of Mary Baker Eddy's writings, there is only one publisher who can be safely relied on to publish exactly the full, complete and accurate edition of what Mrs. Eddy wrote, and that is by the church she founded, The First Church of Christ, Scientist located in Boston, Massachusetts. Many, if not most or all of the other publishers who have Science and Health for sale on have omitted chapters and or pages of their choosing. This particular edition, for example, has only 524 pages. The original has 700 pages, all of which are essential to grasping the message Mrs. Eddy intended to convey. So no harm in purchasing this edition and supporting a deserving publisher, and there is no reason to disregard the other reviewers comments on this book. In fact many of the reviewers here may have read the original authorized version and commented here not realizing this was not the full and complete representation of the original. However, if you want to be certain you have the right one, you should be sure the edition displayed has an image of the book's cover, which should contain on the face the trademarked, circular "Cross and Crown" seal. Additionally, the title of the book should indicate that it is an "Authorized" edition. The text of the title should contain the word "Authorized." At the time of this review, the only Science and Health edition which currently meets that criteria is the paperback, blue "Sapphire Edition," which should come up simply by entering the search term "Science and Health." But you should do it. This book will change your life for the better - forever. It has mine.
I have read this book over and over and i am inspired and learn with every reading. I have found myself free from all sorts of ills from the inspiration which has brought me closer to the Scriptures and God. It is a book for thinkers not for those who let others, no matter how exalted a position they occupy, do their thinking for them.
I'm not a Christian Scientist, but my girlfriend is, and she sent me this book for my birthday. I was quite surprised to discover that in the last half of the book, I agreed with just about everything the author said. To think that she wrote this in 1875 is phenomenal. She obviously was way ahead of her time. Her thinking is quite advanced and very impressive.
Mary Baker Eddy is known for founding the Christian Science Religion, whose main tenets inform us that sickness and pain are lies, that they don't exist, except as we have been brainwashed to believe they do. This is strong stuff.
She also founded The Christian Science Monitor, an international daily newspaper still successful since the 1800's. The newspaper is a monument to her brilliance.
Her writing is strong and complicated, and there have been testimonials that people were cured of their illness after reading this book. Amazing. If this is true, and you are sick, well, read the book! I mean, what have you got to lose. I haven't even finished it yet, I am so impressed with what I'm reading. I'm up to page 461. It's fascinating reading if you are ready for this kind of thinking. You have to definitely open your mind, throw away your previous ideas, and see if you can allow these ideas into your head.

If you can begin to heal by its teachings, you'll know you have begun to understand it. Welcome to a great adventure, and a new life, if you want one. It continues to change me, a stubborn doubter, and I am grateful.
